The renowned Lamprobe treats a wide variety of common minor skin conditions that skin care practitioners see on a daily basis. Lamprobe treatments are exceptionally quick (3-5 sec), with instantaneous results. Only one treatment is required.

Based on radio wave and high frequency technology, the Lamprobe 4000 works on the principle of liquids being attracted to heat, released by various sized probes. Minor epidermal abnormalities can thus be effectively treated, without penetration of the skin's surface, thus eliminating scarring and hypo-pigmentation. Minimal client discomfort is experienced, with no need for anaesthesia, although topical anaesthetic can be used.

The Lamprobe is a popular and excellent stand-alone as well as an add-on service, to standard skin care and microdermabrasion treatments, skin peels, IPL etc.

The LED daylight-type light is linearly polarized and a second polarising lens is aligned to cancel the reflected light from the skin. A high quality, three-element lens with 10x magnification, superb colour correction, and reduced image distortion is used to image the skin.

The Skinlite uses a 2CR5 Lithium battery, which may be purchased from camera stores
or any electric stores and provide up to 8 hours of continuous operation, or enough power for imaging approximately 1200 lesions at 30 seconds per examination.

Convenient and versatile, the handheld Skinlite I allows for a deeper view (up to 2mm) of skin conditions that far surpasses traditional devices such as magnifying lamps or the Woods lamp. The Skinlite is rapidly becoming the essential skin examination tool of preference for a wide range of practitioners who examine and treat the skin on a regular basis.
